Job summary

Ernst & Young Advisory Services Sdn Bhd is seeking an Extended Assurance Associate/Senior in Financial Services within our Financial Accounting Advisory Services. The role focuses on delivering quality EA services to financial institutions, applying risk-management concepts and controls knowledge to client engagements.

You will plan engagement objectives, supervise field work, manage engagement economics, and maintain strong client relationships throughout the year.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of related experience in internal or external audit, including recent experience in the past two years.
• Background in financial services audit is preferred (insurance, banking, or asset management).
• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality EA services to clients and stakeholders.
• Apply risk management and controls concepts to client situations.
• Plan engagement objectives and strategy compliant with professional standards.
• Direct field work, manage engagement economics, inform supervisors of status.
• Monitor engagement progress and adjust as needed.
• Supervise junior engagement team members and develop them through delegation and guidance.
• Maintain productive relationships with client personnel and monitor client satisfaction.
