Job summary

Caritas Singapore, the social and community arm of the Catholic Church, invites applications for a role supporting its membership and partnerships. This position focuses on strengthening ties with member organizations, planning collaborative programmes, and providing Secretariat support.

Reporting to the Head of Partnerships, the role requires a degree, strong writing, and 2–3 years in the social sector; experience in community development is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (Social Work, Business or Communications) preferred.
• Strategic thinking with hands‑on programme and event planning experience.
• Strong writing skills with attention to detail.
• 2–3 years of experience in the social sector preferred.
• Experience in community development and community building advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage, develop and establish stronger relationships with member organizations in the Caritas Singapore Family through meetings and field visits.
• Plan and implement programmes and events that foster collaboration across stakeholders and member organisations.
• Work with member organisations on Membership matters, including processing and evaluating applications and affiliations.
• Provide secretariat support to the Caritas Singapore Membership Committee.
• Provide support on other projects/tasks as assigned by the Executive Director, Caritas Singapore.

JoinCaritas Singapore, the social and community arm of the Catholic Church, in serving those in need. We are an umbrella body for over20 Catholic charitableorganisationsand a member of Caritas Internationalis.

We are looking for passionate and capable individuals to join our team in two key roles that support our mission to serve and uplift the most vulnerable in our community.

Reporting to the Head, Partnerships, your main role and responsibilities are:

1. Manage, develop, and establish stronger relationships with member organizations in the Caritas Singapore Family through various means, including but not limited to meetings and field visits.

2.Planand implement programmes and events that foster greater collaboration and networking across various stakeholders (with emphasis on member organizations in the Caritas Singapore Family).

3. Work with potential and existing member organizations in the Caritas Singapore Family on all matters relating to Membership in Caritas, including, but not limited to processing and evaluating membership application and status for affiliations and associates.

5. Provide secretariat support to the Caritas Singapore Membership Committee.

6. Provide support onotherprojects/tasks as assigned bythe Executive Director, Caritas Singapore.

Requirements:

• At least aBachelor’s Degree(preferably in Social Work, Business or Communication Studies) with thesequalities :

• Strategic thinking with hands-on experience planning and executing programmes and events

• Havestrongwriting skills and an eye for attention to detail.

• 2-3 years of experience in the social sector as an employee would be beneficial.

• Experience in community development and community building would beadvantageous.
