A leading asset management firm in Singapore is seeking a Lease Management Officer to provide support for properties within the company's portfolio. This role involves managing lease documentation, executing arrears management processes, and cultivating strong relationships with tenants. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma or Degree in a relevant field, 3-5 years of experience, and good knowledge of MS Excel, with SAP experience as a plus. Job description
The Role

This position will be providing lease management support for the properties within the Company’s portfolio.

Job Responsibilities
  • Responsible for management of leases which includes preparing and checking lease documents, checking and activation of contracts, preparing and maintaining tenancy schedule and monthly management reports for submission.
  • Responsible for lease documentation, audit checks on leases and tenants, arrears management, tenant and other related lease management functions.
  • Enter information and data into the system and maintain the database, as well as monitor the status of lease documents.
  • Execute the arrears management process in collecting payments from tenants of a portfolio of properties, prepare arrears report on a regular interval and present the recovery plan for delinquent cases.
  • In charge of tracking security deposit, monitor submission of gross sales turnover reports and audited sales reports by tenants and adjustment of audited sales.
  • Main responsibilities include ensuring accurate and timely submission of gross sales turnover reports and detailed analysis of rental, gross sales turnover and occupancy cost.
  • Responsible for billing related issues and managing the Point of Sales (POS) related issues.
  • Develop and maintain cordial relationships with tenants and attend to all feedback/requests promptly.
  • Liaise with internal and external counsel, court bailiffs, liquidators and collection agent in the course of work.
Job Requirements
  • Possess a Diploma / Degree in Estate Management, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or its equivalent.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in lease management.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Experience with SAP system would have an added advantage.
  • You should be meticulous, diligent, highly organised and have lots of initiative. Other key attributes include excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
