Job summary

The National University of Singapore Museum is seeking an Executive/Senior Executive (Faculty Engagement) to support academic engagement, curriculum integration and schools engagement. You will work with faculty, students and educators to enhance teaching through the Museum’s collections and exhibitions.

You will develop educational resources, coordinate university-wide initiatives, and build partnerships across NUS and external institutions to sustain learning collaborations.

• 2–4 years of museum education or academic engagement experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate University-wide educational initiatives including Visual Arts & Culture Second Major (FASS) and Lifelong Learning programmes (SCALE).
• Promote the Museum's collections, exhibitions and faculty engagement initiatives as teaching resources.
• Build relationships with academic units for curriculum integration and sustained engagement.
• Work with faculty across NUS and external IHLs to integrate museum learning into teaching.
• Plan and manage course engagements and conduct in-gallery teaching sessions at NUS Museum and Baba House.
• Develop educational resources and learning guides to support teaching with the Museum's collections.
• Coordinate object-viewing and research access with Collections Management and provide basic handling support.
• Develop and deliver academic programmes and events, including talks and workshops.
• Support the Curatorial Team in Artist-in-Residence programmes.
• Coordinate programme planning, logistics, and communications with stakeholders.
• Manage editorial workflow for the NUS Museum Annual Report and publications.
• Maintain records of academic engagements for reporting and evaluation.
• Support cross-unit events and public programmes across Museum teams.
