Job description
About NUS Museum
NUS Museum is the oldest university museum in Singapore. Its collections include Singaporean, Southeast Asian, Chinese and Indian materials including modern and contemporary art. It also manages the NUS Baba House, which facilitates research into architectural conservation, urban and social history, and cultural hybridity.
As a university museum, the NUS Museum prioritises direct, first‑hand access to its collections for faculty, students and researchers for teaching, research, and study. The Faculty Engagement Unit is a sub‑unit of the NUS Museum. It oversees the development and customisation of museum content for course‑based engagements, which is the key to the Museum's continued relevance to NUS, as well as other Institutes of Higher Learning. In view of the on‑going development of visual arts and culture based majors and minors in the university, and the interdisciplinary curriculum development at NUS College, there is a need to augment the capacity of the Faculty Engagement Unit.
