SingHealth seeks a Senior Executive to provide secretariat support to the Centralised Institutional Review Board (CIRB) in Singapore, ensuring efficient operations and regulatory compliance. You will manage routine CIRB functions, prepare reports, and coordinate CIRB improvement projects.

You will review IRB applications, liaise with Principal Investigators, and help interpret ethical principles for human biomedical research, while developing educational materials and guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in biomedical-related field is required.
• Minimum 2 years' work experience, preferably in a healthcare-related industry.
• Good command of English with effective meeting minutes writing skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide secretariat support to SingHealth CIRB to ensure efficient operations.
• Manage routine CIRB functions, prepare management reports, facilitate department meetings, and coordinate improvement projects for CIRB processes and regulatory compliance.
• Review IRB applications for completeness, communicate with Principal Investigators, coordinate clarification requests, screen and process amendments, annual continuing reviews, protocol deviations and serious adverse events.
• Interpret and apply ethical principles to human biomedical research; assist researchers on ethics-related matters; develop and update forms, guidelines, policies, and educational materials.

What You Will Do

As a Senior Executive, you will provide the SingHealth Centralised Institutional Review Board (CIRB) with secretariat support to ensure its effective and efficient operations. You will manage routine CIRB functions, prepare management reports, facilitate department meetings, and coordinate projects related to the improvement of CIRB processes and regulatory compliance. You will review IRB applications for completeness, manage communications with Principal Investigators, coordinate requests for clarification, screen and process amendments, annual continuing reviews, protocol deviations, and serious adverse events. You will also interpret and apply ethical principles applicable to human biomedical research, serve as a resource for researchers on ethics-related matters, and develop and regularly update relevant forms, guidelines, policies, and educational materials.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a biomedical-related field
• Minimum 2 years' work experience, preferably in a healthcare-related industry
