Job summary

GlobalFoundries in Singapore is seeking an experienced etch engineer to develop, optimize, and sustain advanced etch processes for cutting-edge semiconductor fabrication. You will work with cross-functional teams to improve non-uniformity, defectivity, and removal-rate stability while driving SOPs and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical / Chemical / Materials Science Engineering or related field.
• 4 years of wafer fabrication experience with a strong focus on etch.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good analytical and project management skills.
• Organized and systematic in problem solving, familiar with SPC, DOE & FMEA.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify etch process formulations, methods, and tool controls to meet quality standards.
• Lead cross-functional teams and provide guidance on etch projects.
• Identify complex issues and contribute to IP through patents and publications.
• Uphold safety, EH&S requirements and process compliance.
