Job summary

ADECCO PERSONNEL PTE LTD is assisting a leading semiconductor foundry in Singapore to recruit an experienced Etch Process Development Engineer. You will develop and optimize etch formulations, review process data, and establish SOPs and FMEA for the etch module.

The role requires a Master’s or Bachelor’s in engineering and 5–8 years wafer fabrication experience with a focus on etch, plus strong analytical, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical / Chemical / Materials Science Engineering or related field.
• 5–8 years of wafer fabrication experience with a strong focus on etch.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good analytical and project management abilities.
• Organized and systematic problem solving; familiar with SPC, DOE and FMEA.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify etch process formulations, methods, and tool controls to meet stringent quality standards.
• Analyze data and charts to ensure etch performance, focusing on non-uniformity, defectivity, and removal rate stability.
• Establish and maintain SOPs and FMEA specific to the etch module.
• Integrate etch equipment capabilities to meet process specs and technology requirements.
• Lead recipe creation, maintenance, and optimization for etch tools to ensure accurate process monitoring.
