Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma in Chemical/Environmental/Mechanical engineering or related field, with 1–2 years of relevant experience. Fresh diploma graduates with interest in environmental protection will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Inspect trade and industrial premises to ensure compliance with pollution control, hazardous substances, and toxic industrial waste requirements.
• Perform investigations and carry out enforcement actions related to air, water, and noise pollution.
• Execute air and water sampling programmes.
• Respond to pollution incidents during and after office hours.
• Attend to feedback from the public on pollution matters.
• Administer emission monitoring and surveillance systems.
