Job summary

JAC Recruitment is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager in Singapore to lead the project Engineering Department and coordinate with consultants and stakeholders for a major forthcoming project.

Responsibilities include technical guidance on concrete and steel works, design coordination, and ensuring quality, safety, and program management from an engineering perspective. Excellent leadership and multinational collaboration skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in large-scale building construction projects.
• Proven experience in engineering management across design, construction and QA/QC.
• Experience delivering major developments (commercial, mixed-use, high-rise).

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the project Engineering Department including Drawing, Architectural, Engineering, and QA/QC teams.
• Review and provide technical guidance on structural concrete and steel works.
• Coordinate design and construction issues with consultants and stakeholders.
• Drive engineering reviews and project execution strategies.
• Manage project progress and resolve engineering and construction challenges.
• Ensure coordination among design, engineering, construction, and quality teams.
• Oversee quality, safety, and construction program management from an engineering view.
• Mentor and lead multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Act as liaison between consultants, clients, contractors, and internal departments.
