Job summary

Kajima Overseas Asia (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. seeks a Senior Engineering Manager to lead all engineering, design coordination, and technical management across construction projects, ensuring safe, efficient, and on-time delivery. You will develop methodologies, drive buildability, coordinate with clients and authorities, and lead multidisciplinary teams throughout design, tender, construction, testing, and handover. A track record in large-scale projects and BIM proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of experience in the construction industry, with at least 8 years in engineering management or senior project engineering roles for major building projects.
• Proven track record on large-scale projects valued at S$500 million and above.
• Experience with BIM implementation, digital construction technologies and engineering innovation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all engineering, design coordination, and technical activities across the project lifecycle.
• Develop, review, and implement engineering strategies, construction methodologies, temporary works solutions, and buildability proposals.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, authorities, subcontractors, and project teams to resolve design and technical issues promptly.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering, construction, BIM, and site teams; review deliverables and construction documentation.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, regulations, contractual obligations, and company standards.
• Identify and mitigate engineering and construction risks across all project phases.
• Monitor design development and construction progress; resolve issues impacting schedules.
• Lead value engineering and design optimisation to improve constructability, productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
