Job summary

Kajima Asia Pacific Holdings Pte. Ltd. seeks a senior leader to drive entry into Singapore’s civil engineering market by deploying advanced construction automation technologies such as A4CSEL (Quad Axel).

The role will shape organizational and project execution frameworks, explore future business opportunities, conduct market research, and identify strategic partners. The incumbent will evaluate delivery capabilities, coordinate with Kajima Corporation and subsidiaries, and work with the board

Qualifications

• Master’s or higher degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 20 years relevant experience in senior civil engineering roles within a Japanese construction company.
• Professional qualifications from Japan: P.E., Certified Supervising Engineer, First-Class Civil Engineering Construction Management Engineer, Concrete Diagnostician.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering technologies and construction automation (A4CSEL Quad Axel).
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Japanese JLPT N1 and strong English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Understand parent company Kajima’s civil engineering technologies and Japan delivery experience to support deployment in Singapore and Asia.
• Identify business opportunities and support market development in Singapore through pilot projects with statutory boards.
• Promote opportunities using environmentally friendly revetment demos and maintain relationships with statutory boards.
• Conduct market research and assess opportunities for future civil engineering business in Singapore and Asia.
• Develop and maintain network of stakeholders, consultants, contractors, government agencies and potential partners.
• Evaluate construction execution frameworks and partnership models for future operations in Singapore.
