Job summary

UTAC Singapore is seeking a quality engineering professional with 5+ years in electronics/semiconductor to lead customer issue resolution, RMA tracking, and process control improvements.

You will attend customer meetings, perform audits, and guide CAPA/CIP verifications while ensuring compliance with PFMEA and control plans. Base location: Singapore, with global customer interactions and KPI reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or science.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in electronics/semiconductor industry.
• Knowledge of Statistics/Problem Solving Techniques/manufacturability (8D, FMEA, SPC, DOE, DMAIC, etc.)
• Experience in Final Test, Wafer Sort, and WLCSP is an advantage.
• Auditing skills, articulate and keen to details.

Responsibilities

• Manage and attend resolution of customer issues across ALR, 3D, RCCA, 8D.
• Track and monitor Customer RMA due to Quality issues.
• Set up and attend customer meetings and ensure agenda compliance.
• Conduct Customer Audit presentations for Process Controls and Quality updates.
• Submit and monitor PCN until closure and generate reports per customer account.
• Review and approve Process Control Documents (PFMEA, Control Plan, OCAP, Process Specs).
• Drive Process Control enhancements and CIP projects; conduct CAPA/CIP verification audits.
• Monitor KPI and initiate improvements; present quality updates at QBRs.

Job description

• Manage and attend resolution of customer issues regardless of process of occurrence (ALR, 3D, RCCA, 8D) including Reliability Risk assessments of bracketed materials
• Track and monitor Customer RMA due to Quality issues
• Set-up and attend customer meeting / telecon and ensure compliance with respect to agenda
• Conduct Customer Audit presentation for Process Controls and Quality related updates
• Track and update customer for any regular or special requested customer reports and reliability monitoring
• Review customer documents, identify gaps for closure and ensure execution and compliance
• Submit and monitor PCN until closure
• Generate and presents reports per customer account for internal and customer reporting
• Review and approve Process Control Documents (PFMEA, Control Plan, OCAP, Process Specs)
• Drive for Process Control Enhancement / Projects (CIP improvement) per process of concern
• Conduct CAPA/CIP verification audits to ensure close loop executions and consistent implementations
• Monitor and update KPI and initiate improvement plans for items not met
• Attend and present quality updates during customer QBRs.
• Custodians of quality engineering systems for clean-up and audit free Dbase - eCAR, ALR & e-PCN
• Represent on any Corporate related Process Control standardization of practices and systems
