Job summary

RECRUITPEDIA PTE. LTD. is seeking a hands-on Electrical/Power Engineer to join a client- engineering company delivering generators, BESS and power distribution solutions at project sites. You will test, troubleshoot, commission and service power equipment, and lead small project teams on site.

The role requires 3-5 years in power generation or electrical distribution, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and readiness to work in Singapore-based projects at Joo Koon.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Power Engineering or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in power generation, electrical distribution or related industries.
• Strong technical knowledge of generators, BESS and power distribution equipment.
• Hands-on experience in testing, troubleshooting, commissioning, servicing and maintenance of power equipment.
• Experience in field servicing, commissioning or project delivery is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct testing, troubleshooting and validation of generators, BESS and electrical distribution systems.
• Support the commissioning, servicing and maintenance of power equipment at project sites.
• Provide technical support throughout project delivery and ensure equipment meets performance and safety standards.
• Diagnose technical issues and carry out troubleshooting and corrective actions.
• Work closely with customers, suppliers and vendors on technical matters.
• Provide technical input for product improvements, equipment trials and project solutions.
• Lead small project teams and coordinate technical activities when required.
• Guide and mentor junior engineers and technicians on technical practices and procedures.
• Collaborate with sales, operations and service teams to deliver effective customer solutions.
• Ensure technical activities comply with relevant safety and regulatory requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

Our client is an established engineering company specialising in power solutions for construction and industrial projects, including generators, battery energy storage systems (BESS), electrical distribution equipment and power cables.

Working Hours

Monday - Friday: 8:00am - 5:00pm

Saturday: 8:00am - 12:00pm

Job Responsibilities
