Job summary

Government Technology Agency (GovTech) in Singapore seeks a senior specialist to help establish EMA as an informed technical lead on advanced nuclear energy systems, building internal capabilities to evaluate feasibility and safety, and benchmarking global designs against international standards.

You will collaborate across Civil, Mechanical, Electrical disciplines, conduct feasibility research, and support standards governance and international partnerships to advance next-generation reactor

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nuclear, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Systems Engineering or other relevant fields.

Responsibilities

• Build specialised institutional expertise in advanced thermal-hydraulic systems, core physics, and material behaviour for next-generation nuclear energy technologies.
• Conduct engineering research across Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical disciplines to verify technical claims of emerging global technologies.
• Support the development of technical benchmarks and reference architectures for various advanced reactor concepts (e.g., Light Water SMRs, High-Temperature Gas-cooled Reactors).
• Study how global engineering designs might be optimised, exploring modular construction and system co-location.
