Beca is seeking a Senior Engineer – Mechanical (Building Services) to join our Singapore team. You will lead HVAC design for diverse building projects, coordinating QA and commissioning while mentoring junior engineers.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible to:

• Leading mechanical services (HVAC) design for building projects
• Assume responsibility and undertake engineering tasks of increasing scope and complexity
• Responsible for analysis of information, production of design, tenders, proposals and technical report writing
• Assist in coordination of quality assurance and commissioning of designs with other disciplines and other design consultants
• In charge of jobs control, planning, monitoring, progress and job cost reporting
• Communicate effectively with the client, sub-consultants, contractors, and other parties relevant to the job
• Assist in assessment and review of designs prepared by others on behalf of the clients
• Liaise with authorities on plans submission and compliance

Key Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferably recognised by Singapore PEB
• At least 5 years experiences in consulting firm
• Leading roles experience in ventilation & air-conditioning (HVAC, Plumbing & Drainage) design & design management of commercial, healthcare or school projects.
• Competent user of relevant engineering software, Building Information Modelling and Navisworks
• Excellent written & spoken communication skills in English
• Able to work independently & exercise initiative
• Excellent delegation and communication skills, which see you enlist the help of others to meet objectives
