Job summary

A Bachelor's degree in Industrial Systems, Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering is mandatory, along with 3–5 years of related experience in probe planning or manufacturing.

Job description

Responsibilities
  • Optimize supply to demand requests and develop and improve the performance of the overall FE probe network.
  • Collaborate with internal and external groups to improve FE output performance and meet output commitments on time.
  • Facilitate the rollout of key indices to Micron executives, highlighting issues and mitigation plans.
  • Audit and improve process efficiency, incorporating automation into metric updates.
  • Establish and standardize network probe metrics for die mix attainment and operational efficiency.
  • Benchmark BIC metrics and deploy BKM across the network to drive standardization.
  • Establish probe card and tester best‑practice metrics for capacity optimization, allocation, and methodology to drive cross‑site and cross‑platform fungibility.
  • Drive probe flex alignment with the Global Supply Chain team and Central Probe Planning to meet die mix variability.
  • Drive die mix optimization, manage probe card swap processes, audit and maximize vendor capacity and allocation to meet network needs.
  • Collaborate with SMAI on automation to ensure consistency and sustainability.
  • Systematize probe business processes and audit sites for compliance.
  • Synchronize die mix processes with probe planning processes.
  • Synchronize probe long‑term planning with short‑term planning.
  • Synchronize IE planning with operations processes (POR‑MOR gaps), establishing PDCA processes and feedback loops.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Systems Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering.
  • 3–5 years of experience in probe planning, probe manufacturing, inventory control, production planning, or line management.
  • Proficiency in data analytics tools (Python, SQL, or Tableau) to perform detailed analysis and provide metric visibility.
  • Ability to analyze line performance and provide directional guidance through line management and inventory management concepts to meet the business plan.
  • Proven ability to make decisions, multi‑task, troubleshoot problems, and address root causes.
  • Proven ability to build consensus in cross‑functional groups.
  • Fluency in the basic concepts of weekly wafer starts and wafer outs business processes (good to have).
