Responsibilities

• Provide facilities support for Electrical systems, FMCS and related facilities to wafer fabrication to ensure continuous utilities supply and performance.
• Formulate and implement preventive maintenance programs for systems to keep them functioning as intended.
• Repair and troubleshoot systems to restore operation quickly.
• Monitor system performance and capacity usage; provide reports and recommend improvements.
• Formulate and implement operating procedures for optimum system operation.
• Monitor utility consumption and work with users to reduce usage where possible.
• Track spares and consumables for day-to-day operations.
• Maintain plant histories, drawings and documentation for future reference and review.
• Evaluate and recommend spare parts and resources necessary for day-to-day operation.

We’re searching for a Senior Engineer, Electrical (50701087) to be part of our Facilities, Electrical & Building Department diverse team of talent.

What you will be working on

• To provide facilities support pertaining to Electrical systems, Facilities Monitoring and Control Systems (FMCS) and other miscellaneous electrical & electronic facilities systems to wafer fabrication so as to ensure continuous supply of utilities & related facilities at the required performance level or specifications
• Formulate and implement preventive maintenance programs for systems in charge so as to ensure that the systems function as intended at all times
• Carry out repair and troubleshooting of systems in order to restore systems to their operating conditions in the shortest possible time
• Monitor & review system performance and capacity usage as well as provide regular reports, so as to recommend & implement improvement/enhancement projects
• Formulate & implement operating procedures to ensure optimum operation of systems
• Monitor and review utility consumptions & work with users to implement projects to reduce the consumption where possible
• Track spares & consumable usage & ensure adequate provision for day to day operation
• Ensure plant histories, drawings, data and other appropriate documentations are being generated & properly filed for future reference & review.
• Evaluate & recommend appropriate spares, consumables & other resources necessary for the day-to-day operation of the systems.
