Job summary

PACC Offshore Services Holdings Limited is seeking a Senior Engineer to independently develop and lead detail design of architectural outfitting and safety to meet Class and Technical specifications within schedule. Based at PaxOcean Yard in Singapore, you will coordinate with owners, classification societies and other engineering teams.

You will prepare detailed architectural outfitting drawings, weight reports and equipment specifications, liaise with suppliers, and support on-site

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Architecture.
• Familiar with AutoCAD, AVEVA, Cadmatic or similar software.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver project design drawings and documents per project plan; assume project lead role.
• Prepare compartment layouts and coordinate with other engineering specialties.
• Liaise with Owner and Classification Society for design compliance and approvals.
• Specify architectural outfitting and lifesaving equipment; develop specs.
• Perform technical evaluation of seller offers.
• Coordinate with suppliers and contractors on drawings interpretation.
• Update weight report (weight and center of gravity).
• Communicate with production on on-site troubleshooting.
• Hull outfitting coverage is an advantage.

Job Summary

Independently develop and responsible for detail design of architectural outfitting & safety to comply with Class and Technical specification requirements within assigned schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for delivering the respective project design drawing and document according to project plan schedule. Shall take on project lead role
• Prepares compartment layouts, managing space, and coordinating with other engineering specialties.
• Liaise with Owner and Classification Society for the specific design requirement compliance, review, and approval.
• Prepares architectural outfitting, lifesaving equipment sourcing technical specifications
• Conduct a technical evaluation of the offer made by the seller.
• Liaise with suppliers and contractors for interpretation of the drawings and specifications.
• Develop and update weight report (weight and center of gravity).
• Communicate with the person in charge of production on trouble shooting and visiting on-site if needed.
• Hull outfitting coverage is an advantage.

Key Requirements
