Job summary

Surbana Jurong is seeking an Energy Modeling Specialist to develop, calibrate and validate detailed energy models for buildings and campuses using EnergyPlus, IES-VE and DesignBuilder. The role supports high‑performance design, code compliance and decarbonization pathways.

You will establish modeling standards, lead complex tasks, and present results to project teams and clients, while mentoring junior modelers and contributing to capability building.

Qualifications

• Experience developing, calibrating and validating energy models for buildings or campuses.
• Familiarity with ASHRAE 90.1, Green Mark, LEED, Green Star and related standards.
• Ability to communicate modeling results to project teams and clients.

Responsibilities

• Energy Modeling & Analysis: develop, calibrate, and validate detailed energy models using industry tools.
• Technical Leadership: establish modeling standards, workflows, QA/QC, and documentation.
• Stakeholder Engagement: present results to teams, clients, utilities and regulators.
• Mentorship & Development: train junior modelers and share knowledge.
