seeks a Lead Building Energy Modelling specialist to develop and deliver whole-building energy models for complex projects, supporting sustainable design strategies, compliance submissions, and decarbonisation goals. The role involves driving performance analyses (thermal comfort, daylight, glare, passive design) and translating results into practical recommendations for Green Mark, LEED, and other standards.

Qualifications

• Background in sustainability, compliance frameworks (LEED, GMM, energy code compliance).
• Experience in building performance assessments across thermal comfort, daylight, glare, passive design.

Responsibilities

• Lead building energy modelling, review and deliver whole-building models for complex projects.
• Drive performance analyses including energy, thermal comfort, daylight, glare and scenario-based simulations.
• Provide technical sustainability guidance for decarbonisation, Green Mark, LEED and related standards.
• Ensure QA/QC standards, validate modelling assumptions across disciplines and improve delivery.
• Lead client-facing technical discussions and coordinate local/offshore delivery teams.

Job description

• Lead Building Energy Modelling – Develop, review, and deliver whole-building energy models for complex projects, supporting sustainable design strategies, compliance requirements, and certification submissions.
• Drive Building Performance Analysis – Conduct energy, thermal comfort, daylight, glare, passive design, and scenario-based simulations to optimise building performance and inform design decisions.
• Provide Technical Sustainability Expertise – Translate modelling outcomes into practical recommendations for decarbonisation, high-performance buildings, Green Mark, LEED, and other sustainability objectives.
• Ensure Quality and Project Delivery Excellence – Establish QA/QC standards, validate modelling assumptions across architectural and MEP disciplines, and improve consistency, efficiency, and risk management in project delivery.
• Lead Stakeholder and Team Collaboration – Act as the client-facing technical specialist, collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams, mentor junior modellers, and coordinate local and offshore delivery resources.

We require candidates who have a background in -

• sustainability and compliance frameworks, including/such as LEED, GMM, energy code compliance, energy audits, high-performance building design, and carbon strategies/net-zero energy.
• Capability to conduct and oversee building performance assessments in areas of thermal comfort, daylight, glare, passive design optimisation, façade performance, and building envelope sensitivity studies.
