Job summary

ALPHAEUS PTE. LTD. is seeking an IT Security Specialist to administer and monitor enterprise endpoint-protection platforms across a large IT environment. The role emphasizes endpoint-health, malware-definition updates, policy implementation and incident troubleshooting.

The successful candidate will support vulnerability remediation, maintain endpoint-security compliance and collaborate with infrastructure, network and security teams to resolve complex incidents.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity or related discipline.
• Minimum five years IT infrastructure or security experience, with at least three years hands-on endpoint-security support.
• Experience administering enterprise endpoint-protection platforms (e.g., Symantec, Trend Micro, Defender, McAfee).
• Experience supporting endpoint-security agents across a large enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support enterprise endpoint-protection management servers and client agents.
• Monitor security status, connectivity, definition updates and overall health of managed endpoints.
• Investigate and resolve agent, policy, communication and update-related issues.
• Configure and maintain endpoint-security policies, exclusions, device controls and application controls.
• Monitor endpoints in restricted or controlled network environments.
• Ensure endpoint agents and security definitions remain current and compliant.
• Perform agent installation, upgrades, repair and reinstallation activities.
• Investigate malware alerts and suspicious endpoint activities.
