Job summary

MSD INTERNATIONAL GMBH (Singapore Branch) is looking for a technical consultant to provide continuous delivery and enhancement of Endpoint Security solutions. The role involves assisting in the implementation of security strategies across various environments and driving product roadmaps.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in infrastructure security implementations, with strong knowledge in Cloud Security, Vulnerability Management, and Security Standards. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams are essential.

Job description

Provide continuous delivery and enhancement of Endpoint Security solutions deployed.

• Assist in the implementation of strategies for Endpoint Security, including anti-virus/anti-malware protection, Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), vulnerability management, and secure configuration management, across Cloud, Enterprise, and IT/OT environments.

• Engage and drive Endpoint Security tools solutioning and product roadmap.

• Benchmark and assess security configurations and system performance impact.

• Support the integration requirement of the Endpoint Security solutions to other security solutions such as Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) and Security Orchestration, Automation and Response (SOAR).

• Provide level 3 engineering support.

Participate and contribute to cross-functional engagements, achieve risks and compliance objectives, in both regional and international locations.

Participate in vendor and technology assessments, including proof of concept, stakeholder requirements to achieve business outcomes and resolve technical issues.

Technical Skills

• Basic knowledge in Risk Management and Information Security, Cloud Security, and security standards or frameworks (e.g. ISO 27000, NIST or MiTRE Cybersecurity Framework)

• Familiarity with developing endpoint security controls and policies.

• Knowledge in operating systems internals, hardening, and monitoring (e.g. Windows Desktops/Servers, Linux, macOS).

• Experience in security technologies implemented for the cloud environment will be a plus.

Education and Experience

• Minimum 3 years in Infrastructure security implementations, for example, Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR), Next-Gen Anti-virus (NGAV), Web Application Firewall (WAF), vulnerability scanning, Zero-Trust networks and architecture.

• Good experience with Agile methodology and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

• Ability to work independently and as team player in a fast-paced environment.

• Good oral and written communication skills and possess good presentation skills.
