Full‑time role dedicated to developing and maintaining firmware for HP enterprise‑class printing products. The position involves coding, testing, and mentoring within a global project team.

Responsibilities

• Write and program firmware enhancements, updates, and changes for application and driver‑level code.
• Execute established test plans and protocols for assigned code portions; identify, log, and debug issues.
• Develop and maintain relationships with local and worldwide development partners on firmware design and development.
• Collaborate with project teams to deliver innovative, reliable, cost‑effective, high‑quality firmware solutions.
• Communicate firmware design status, project progress, and issue resolution with management, internal, and outsourced partners.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to less‑experienced staff members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• 10–16 years of experience in embedded software development.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Deep understanding of firmware and hardware design principles.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and Assembly for firmware development.
• Knowledge of basic testing, coding, and debugging procedures.
• Familiarity with firmware development tools and infrastructure, including source control (GIT, Subversion), application lifecycle management (Jira, TFS), and code integration in an enterprise environment.
• Experience in printer firmware development is an added advantage.

Preferred Certifications
