Rockwell Automation is seeking a Senior / Firmware Security Engineer to lead product‑level cybersecurity design, implementation, testing, and remediation for embedded automation products. You will mentor engineers and drive secure development practices across global teams.

Responsibilities cover secure boot, firmware updates, cryptography, key management, threat modeling, and security verification, with collaboration across firmware, hardware, systems, QA and product security teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering required.
• Master's degree preferred for advanced roles.
• 2+ years in embedded firmware development and 2+ years in firmware security or embedded product security.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, debug, test, and maintain embedded firmware security features using C/C++.
• Implement Secure Boot, secure firmware updates, authentication, encryption, key management, and secure communications.
• Perform threat modeling, security reviews, risk assessments, and vulnerability remediation.
• Conduct static code analysis and fix findings.
• Maintain traceability between requirements, implementation, and verification.
