Job summary

HPS PARTNERS PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced embedded software engineer to design, develop, test, and support firmware for wireless microcontroller systems.

You will craft communication protocols and drive projects from specification to release, closely reading schematics and system design. Collaboration across teams ensures on-time delivery. Applicants should have a 10+ year background in real-time embedded systems with Bluetooth, strong C/C++, ARM Cortex MCUs, and DSP familiarity.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronic/Electrical/Computer Engineering, CS or related field.
• 10+ years in real-time embedded systems with Bluetooth firmware/software.
• Strong C/C++ language knowledge.
• Experience with Arm Cortex microcontrollers and Airoha Bluetooth chipset.
• Strong knowledge of I2C, SPI, UART and USB protocols.
• Bluetooth protocol/stack knowledge is a plus.
• Familiarity with DSP programming is an added advantage.
• Excellent teamwork, flexibility, and multitasking ability.
• Ability to manage time efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Design, development, testing and support of firmware/embedded software for MCU wireless systems.
• Develop software communication protocols for wireless systems.
• Drive projects from specification to release.
• Read or understand electronics schematic and system design.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver on time.
• Define and create product software specifications including architecture and notes.
• Research technical issues/opportunities and provide recommendations.
• Participate in ad hoc software projects as required.
