Job summary

Reap is seeking a Senior Product Engineer to build the next generation of embedded finance infrastructure. You will own features end‑to‑end, from PRD to production, focusing on stablecoin‑backed payments, credit, and card services for global businesses.

You’ll design backend services in Node.js/TypeScript using serverless patterns on AWS, ship high‑quality APIs, and collaborate directly with product and business stakeholders in a fully remote, async environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in Node.js and TypeScript with RESTful APIs.
• Experience with AWS services and serverless architectures.
• Proven ability to own features end‑to‑end from design to production.

Responsibilities

• Own features end‑to‑end: write specs, design solutions, build, and operate in production.
• Design, build, and maintain backend services in Node.js/TypeScript for high‑performance APIs.
• Work with AWS services (Lambda, SQS, EventBridge, Aurora, S3, CloudWatch) for scalable architectures.
• Manage data storage with Postgres and Aurora; implement CI/CD with GitHub Actions.
• Collaborate with product/business stakeholders in a fully remote, async team.
