Job summary

razer (asia-pacific) pte. ltd. seeks an Electronics Engineer to drive R&D in gaming peripherals.

You will develop and test advanced electronics prototypes, plan projects from concept to mass production, and manage timelines, budgets, and resources for on-time delivery. You will coordinate with vendors and partners, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain rigorous testing, documentation, and reporting. This role requires embedded MCUs, wired/wireless connectivity, and a Singapore-based work

Qualifications

• Master/degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in designing electronic hardware circuits and systems.
• Experience using EE CAD/CAE tools (ORCAD, PADS, PSPICE) for product development and simulations.
• Experience in EMC/EMI design and countermeasures.
• Wired/wireless connectivity technologies (USB, BT, WIFI).

Responsibilities

• Drive R&D activities in the electrical/electronics domain of advanced gaming peripherals.
• Develop and test prototypes of advanced electronics products.
• Plan and coordinate activities from conceptualization to mass production.
• Oversee timelines, budgets, and resources to meet targets.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Liaise with component vendors, development partners, and contract manufacturers.
• Manage relationships to ensure quality and timely deliverables.
• Coordinate supply chain logistics and resolve key component issues.
• Maintain records of development processes and technical documentation.
• Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders and management.
• Ensure clear communication of project status and technical details.
• Define and implement rigorous testing procedures to ensure product reliability and performance.
• Conduct failure analysis and troubleshoot issues in development.
• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to meet product standards.
• Work closely with design, production, and marketing teams.

Research & Development:

• Drive innovation and development in the electrical and electronics domain.

• Define and implement rigorous testing procedures to ensure product reliability and performance.
• Conduct failure analysis and troubleshoot issues that arise in the development process.
• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to meet product standards.

Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams including design, production, and marketing.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• Master/Degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in designing of electronic hardware circuits and system.
• Experience in using EE CAD/CAE tools (e.g. ORCAD, PADS, PSPICE) for product development and simulations.
• Experience in EMC/EMI design and countermeasures.
• Experience in fast-paced consumer electronics development environment is an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge and actual working experience in the following areas:
• Computer peripheral or consumer electronics product design
• Embedded microcontroller platforms
• Wired/Wireless connectivity technologies (eg. USB, BT, WIFI)
• Role based in Singapore and business travel is required
