Job summary

Public Service Division is seeking an Engineer/Executive Engineer/Senior Engineer (Electrical) to contribute to the Changi Water Reclamation Plant. You will participate in maintaining M&E and auxiliary equipment, ensure safe operation, and help implement maintenance strategies to sustain high-quality NEWater production and safe seawater discharge.

You will work with a team of engineers and contractors, performing predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance while contributing to safety,

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Able to work independently and a good team player.
• Able to respond to urgent situations outside normal working hours.
• Comfortable with working in used water environment and physically able to perform site works.
• Familiarity with predictive maintenance technologies such as partial discharge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work with engineers and contractors to perform predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance works safely for M&E and auxiliary equipment in used water treatment processes.
• Assist supervisor to devise maintenance plan and budget, procure essential spares, monitor spares inventory and utilisation of expenditures
• Respond to equipment abnormalities and carry out SOP when required.
• Utilise enterprise systems such as the Asset Management System for procurement, contract management, asset and inventory management
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on improving safety, efficiency, and equipment reliability
• Manage and implement maintenance contracts to ensure works performed by contractors are executed according to objectives and within budget
