Job summary

sggovterp is seeking an Executive Engineer/Engineer, Electrical Services (Road & Special Projects) to provide engineering support for projects and studies. You will design HV/ LV reticulation schemes for road and rail infrastructure, establish standards, and participate in tenders while supervising sites and testing activities.

Ideal candidates have knowledge of electrical engineering, railway environments, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in Electrical Engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience designing and supervising high voltage and low voltage reticulation schemes.
• Knowledge of a railway environment and experience in designing traction systems.
• Good leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Those with more relevant years of experience will be considered for senior positions.

Responsibilities

• Designing high voltage power systems, railway traction power systems and low voltage reticulation schemes.
• Establishing engineering standards and preparing/participating in tenders.
• Handling site supervision, testing and commissioning.
• Reviewing technologies for road and rail infrastructure and buildings.
