Job summary

The Land Transport Authority in Singapore is seeking an EXECUTIVE ENGINEER/ENGINEER for Electrical Services in Rail. This role involves providing engineering support for various projects, designing high voltage and railway traction power systems, and overseeing site supervision, testing, and commissioning.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in electrical engineering, particularly in designing reticulation schemes and knowledge of D.C. traction systems. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

What the role is:

EXECUTIVE ENGINEER/ ENGINEER, ELECTRICAL SERVICES (RAIL)

What you will be working on:

You will provide engineering support for projects as well as engineering studies supported and undertaken by the Division. You will be involved in designing high voltage power systems, railway traction power systems including overhead conductor rail system and low voltage reticulation schemes; developing technical specification; preparing and participating in tenders new rail projects and asset replacement works; handling site supervision, testing and commissioning as well as reviewing technologies rail infrastructure/ applications.

What we are looking for:

• Knowledge in Electrical Engineering
• At least 3 years of experience in designing and supervising high voltage and low voltage reticulation schemes
• Knowledge of a railway environment and relevant experience in designing D.C. traction systems
• Good leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
• Those with more years of relevant of experience will be considered for senior positions
