Job summary

The Talent People represents our client, a well-established M&E engineering specialist in Singapore, seeking a Site-based Electrical Engineer for underground M&E projects. You will supervise sub-contractors and ensure compliance with electrical design specifications at site.

Responsibilities include liaising with authorities and clients, reviewing drawings for compliance, and managing project progress to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Good knowledge of M&E specifications and requirements.
• Experience with BIM, Revit or AutoCAD is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

• Monitor and supervise sub-contractors' work progression per shop drawings, method statements, materials, and samples.
• Liaise with relevant authorities, sub-contractors, main contractor, and clients.
• Review and align electrical design drawings for compliance with specifications and guidelines.
• Identify discrepancies between M&E, structural, ID, architectural, and client provisions.
• Manage and execute project per deadline.
• Attend meetings with subcontractors, contractors, and clients to address issues and update progress.
• Study and review drawings and specifications for compliance.
• Allocate work and ensure delivery within standards and SOP.

About the Role

We are looking for a Site-based Electrical Engineer for underground M&E projects, responsible for supervising sub-contractor work and ensuring compliance with electrical design specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and supervise sub-contractors' work progression per shop drawings, method statements, materials, and samples
• Liaise with relevant authorities, sub-contractors, main contractor, and clients
• Review and align electrical design drawings for compliance with specifications and guidelines
• Identify discrepancies between M&E, structural, ID, architectural, and client provisions
• Manage and execute project per deadline
• Attend meetings with subcontractors, contractors, and clients to address issues and update progress

Requirements

Work Arrangements

• Work hours: 5.5 days. Mon-Fri 8.30am-5.30pm, Sat 8.30am-12.30pm
• Location: Various location in Singapore
