Job summary

PM Asia Project Services Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to lead electrical design for multiple key projects.

Qualifications

• Min Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 10 years of relevant electrical design experience.
• Good knowledge of electrical and instrumentation specifications & requirements.
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Experience across a broad range of site electrical and instrumentation engineering projects.
• Experience in industrial buildings (Pharmaceutical, Food or Mission Critical projects) would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Design / Engineering Electrical Systems including High, Medium and Low voltage systems, IT systems and Fire Alarm, Access Control.
• Perform electrical services design input including Lighting & Emergency lighting, Power Distribution, 11kV Medium Voltage, LV Panel, Fire Alarm, Earthing, Security, CCTV and Cable Containment design.
• Provide comprehensive scope of works, specifications, calculations and basis of design documentation for projects.
• Analysis and assessment of design work (including load flow analysis).
• Perform Feasibility, Concept, Basis Design, Detailed Design for Procurement and Construction.
• Progress reporting and manhour control for the electrical and instrumentation scope.
• Participate in troubleshooting and root cause investigation.
