Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline is seeking a seasoned Engineering Technician lead in Singapore to supervise Electrical & Automation Technicians and drive reliable, compliant maintenance in a regulated manufacturing setting.

You will coordinate with Operations, Engineering and Projects, coach junior technicians and work with external suppliers. Strong safety culture and cGMP/GEP knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical, Mechatronic or related Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of hands-on engineering experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Experience supervising technicians or leading small teams, planning work and managing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership, supervision and technical guidance to Electrical & Automation Technicians.
• Oversee maintenance, troubleshooting and repair for electrical, automation and instrumentation systems to maximise uptime.
• Plan, prioritise and deliver scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, shutdowns and handovers with strong schedule adherence.
• Support capital projects and equipment modifications, including installation, commissioning and handover into operations.
