Job summary

ENGIE Group in Singapore is seeking an EHS professional to advise the on-site team and ensure compliance with the WSH Act and environmental laws. You will lead risk assessments, implement safety measures, and maintain EHS documentation while monitoring performance and conducting investigations.

You will also support emergency planning, audits, and supplier qualification to uphold ENGIE's safety standards. Strong communication and training skills are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Occupational Safety, Occupational Health, Environmental health, or related field.
• Must possess knowledge of WSH Act and environmental requirements.
• Ability to organize and deliver EHS trainings.

Responsibilities

• Advise on-site team to discharge their statutory duties under the WSH Act.
• Disseminate updates on the WSH Act and environmental requirements.
• Conduct risk assessments and advise on safety measures and SOPs.
• Maintain EHS management system documents and enforce compliance.
• Monitor and report EHS performance; conduct incident investigations.
• Assist in rehearsing emergency response plans and procedures.
• Conduct EHS and environmental audits and drive continual improvements.
• Qualify contractors and suppliers for EHS standards compliance.
• Review safety training needs and ensure records are maintained.
• Organise EHS outreach activities and promotional programmes.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
