Job summary

ENGIE Group in Singapore seeks an EHS professional to oversee fire safety compliance, staff training, and risk assessments at the site. You will conduct drills, maintain evacuation plans, and ensure contractor adherence to safety standards.

The role requires a degree or diploma in a related field, MOM Safety Officer registration, and 3+ years in EHS/FSM. Expect a hands-on environment with regulatory-driven responsibilities and ongoing safety improvements.

Qualifications

• Minimum Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Occupational Safety, Occupational Health, or related fields.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in FSM or EHS roles.
• Course in WSH Officer or Safety Officer Training completed.
• Registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer with MOM.
• Registered Fire Safety Manager per SCDF requirements for complex buildings.
• Auditing skills on ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001 are preferred.
• Knowledge of WSH Act and related environmental requirements.
• Ability to organise EHS-related trainings.
• Ability to maintain records and quality documentation.

Responsibilities

• Observe and comply with all prevailing regulations relating to Fire Safety Act.
• Conduct fire safety training for staff.
• Carry out regular building inspection and address non-compliance.
• Ensure evacuation routes are unobstructed.
• Ensure fire evacuation plans are in place.
• Submit monthly fire safety reports.
• Conduct table top exercises and fire drills; perform risk assessments.
• Ensure staff and contractors comply with safety regulations.
• Ensure all works are carried out safely per procedures.
• Qualify contractors to ensure safety standards and policies.
