Job summary

GMP Recruitment Services (S) Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced EHS Manager to oversee Singapore site safety, regulatory compliance and risk management. The role involves setting annual EHS goals, auditing, coaching departments, and steering improvement projects across operations.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in pharma/petrochemical/semicon environments, WSHO registration, and strong leadership with Mandarin communication advantage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or specialist diploma in Chemical Engineering / WSH or related field.
• Over 10 years of experience in large pharma, petrochemical or semiconductor cleanrooms.
• MOM WSHO registration and Fire Safety Manager certification preferred.
• Mandarin communication with stakeholders is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving, leadership and supervision capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Formulate annual EHS goals for Singapore site, audit and report effectiveness via dashboards.
• Organise identification and evaluation of EHS laws, conduct risk assessments and controls.
• Lead risk assessments for projects; apply EHS by Design and ensure compliance.
• Coordinate audits and implement improvements across departments.
• Develop EHS training strategy for site and new hires to raise awareness.
