Job summary

GMP Technologies (Singapore) Pte Ltd is seeking a Senior Manager, Construction EHS to lead site safety, regulatory compliance and risk management. You will formulate annual EHS goals, oversee audits, and drive safety initiatives across construction and operations at the Singapore site.

The role requires a strong background in Chemical Engineering or related safety disciplines, WSHO accreditation, and the ability to communicate with stakeholders including Mandarin speakers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Chemical Engineering, Safety, or related field with 10+ years' experience.
• Experience in large pharmaceutical, petrolchemical or semiconductor cleanroom environments.
• Willingness to lead cross‑functional EHS initiatives and compliance programs.

Responsibilities

• Formulate annual EHS goals for the Singapore site and monitor progress via dashboards.
• Assess laws/regulations, perform risk assessments, and implement control measures.
• Lead EHS by Design assessments for new projects and changes during construction.
• Coordinate risk assessments for hot work, climbing, excavation, and other operations.
• Provide guidance to senior management on environmental, health and safety regulations.
• Coordinate external audits and lead corrective actions with responsible departments.
• Develop site EHS training strategy and ensure widespread safety training.
• Manage energy-saving and emission-reduction initiatives and waste handling.
• Oversee contractor EHS management and ensure 5S and safety standards on site.
