DIRECT SEARCH ASIA PTE. LTD. is seeking a Senior Document Controller for a major Marine EPC project in Singapore.

The role will oversee document control across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover, ensuring accurate, traceable documentation aligned with project schedules. Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Maritime Studies, or a related discipline.
• 5–8 years of relevant document control experience, preferably in Marine, Shipbuilding, Offshore, Oil & Gas, or EPC environments.
• Proficient in MDRs, transmittals, revision control, document workflows, and review cycles.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee document control activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain the Master Document Register (MDR), document status trackers, transmittals, and revision records.
• Coordinate document submissions, reviews, approvals, and distribution between project teams, clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Monitor document review cycles and follow up on overdue submissions, approvals, and comments.
• Ensure the latest approved revisions are properly distributed and superseded documents are controlled.
• Monitor vendor and subcontractor documentation to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Prepare document status reports, dashboards, and progress reports for project management.
• Support project close-out, as-built documentation, commissioning dossiers, and final handover packages.
• Maintain and improve document control procedures, workflows, and filing systems.
• Provide guidance and support to junior Document Controllers and project personnel.
• Support document audits and ensure document traceability in accordance with project and quality requirements.
