Job summary

Charterhouse Partnership seeks a senior leader to head Manufacturing Quality across our global sites. You will shape the MQ strategy, drive performance, and build a world-class team with a strong bias toward operational excellence.

You will partner with Operations, Engineering, and Product teams to improve FPY, reduce COPQ, and ensure NPI readiness while upholding IPC/ISO 9001 standards. This is a high-impact, executive-level role based in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in engineering, manufacturing, or related field.
• Master's degree preferred; Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent certification highly desirable.
• Proven senior leadership in global manufacturing quality environments; multi-site experience.

• Lead and oversee all Manufacturing Quality organizations across the company's global manufacturing sites.
• Establish and execute the global Manufacturing Quality strategy aligned with business objectives, customer expectations, and operational excellence goals.
• Build a world-class Manufacturing Quality organization through talent development, succession planning, organizational design, and capability building.
• Drive accountability, performance management, and quality ownership throughout the manufacturing organization.

Quality Strategy & Transformation

• Develop and deploy enterprise-wide Manufacturing Quality roadmaps focused on:
• Process Control Plans (PCP)
• Statistical Process Control (SPC)
• Process capability improvement (Cp/Cpk/Ppk)
• Industry 4.0 technologies
• AI-driven quality analytics
• Digital quality systems

Global Harmonization & Best Practice Deployment

• Drive standardization and harmonization of manufacturing quality systems, methodologies, procedures, and metrics across all sites.
• Identify, validate, and deploy proven best practices globally.
• Ensure consistency in quality management processes, escalation methodologies, problem-solving approaches, and operational governance.
• Lead multi-site quality improvement programs and enterprise-wide quality initiatives.

Manufacturing & Operational Excellence

• Partner closely with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Product Development teams to optimize manufacturing performance.
• Drive First Pass Yield (FPY), defect reduction, cost of poor quality (COPQ), reliability, and productivity improvements.
• Ensure robust manufacturing controls throughout NPI, product transfer, ramp-up, and sustaining production phases.
• Provide leadership in risk assessment, process qualification, production readiness, and continuous improvement activities.

Customer & Business Leadership

• Act as a senior quality representative for strategic customers and executive business reviews.
• Lead customer quality escalations and resolution efforts for critical manufacturing issues.
• Build strong relationships with customers, business leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership regarding manufacturing quality risks, opportunities, and strategic investments.

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 20 years of progressive experience within quality, manufacturing, engineering, or operations leadership.
• Minimum 10 years in senior leadership positions managing large-scale manufacturing quality organizations.
• Proven experience leading global, multi-site manufacturing quality teams.
• Experience within multinational corporations (MNCs), electronics manufacturing companies, or large-scale EMS organizations is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated end-to-end manufacturing leadership experience, including practical shop floor knowledge and operational management exposure.
• Experience supporting NPI, product industrialization, volume manufacturing, and customer-facing quality operations.
• Deep understanding of electronics manufacturing processes, including:
• SMT
• Box Build
• System Integration
• Functional Test
• Reliability Validation
• Strong knowledge of:
• IPC Standards
• ISO 9001

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Electronics, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, or related discipline.
• Master's Degree preferred.
• Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent quality certification highly desirable.
