Digital Edge is seeking a Senior Director, Operations Health and Safety to lead strategic health and safety across APAC data centers. Based in Singapore, you will embed safety requirements from design through live operations, partnering with Design & Engineering, Construction, and Operations teams to set standards, assurance programs, and competency curricula.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive Health and Safety experience in design, commissioning, and/or operations of data centers or mission-critical facilities.
• Experience in Design for Safety, operational safety assurance, and risk management in large-scale environments.
• Strong technical understanding of critical data center systems and safety risks.
• Knowledge of Permit-to-Work systems, high-risk work controls, and management of change.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and embed Health and Safety into technical decisions.
• Fluent in English and able to work across diverse regional teams.
• Willingness to travel across APAC regional portfolio.

Responsabilités

• Act as the senior Health and Safety technical authority for design and operations lifecycle, setting standards and assurance requirements.
• Establish Health and Safety requirements for design reviews and for construction and operations teams.
• Develop and maintain Health and Safety standards, requirements, and assurance frameworks.
• Provide leadership for critical infrastructure safety across electrical, mechanical, fire, and life safety systems.
• Define and monitor PTW systems and high-risk activities; use indicators to identify risks and drive improvements.
• Oversee competency and training programs for operations personnel and contractors.
• Review incidents and lessons learned to improve standards and practices across the portfolio.
• Drive cross-country learning and share best practices across regional, country, and campus teams.
• Champion policies on health and safety, environment, energy, quality, information security, and business continuity.
