Job description

As the APAC Media & Performance Lead, you will own the APAC media and performance strategy across priority markets. You will turn brand, audience and business objectives into an integrated, measurable media growth plan – connecting paid, owned and partner channels into one coherent journey. Your impact will show in sharper investment decisions, stronger execution and clear, compliant next steps that help people move towards informed action and lasting health.

What you’ll bring

To assess your fit quickly, here is what matters most for this role.

  • A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Media, Data & Analytics or a related discipline.
  • Significant senior experience leading integrated media, digital performance or marketing effectiveness across multiple markets, ideally in a regulated and/or consumer health or similarly accountable environment.
  • A proven track record of media strategies and investment plans that deliver upper-funnel brand outcomes and lower-funnel action, with clear links to customer and business value.
  • Strong experience across paid social, search, video, programmatic, creators/influence and emerging platforms, and how to connect them into an omnichannel plan.
  • Experience managing budgets, agency ecosystems, senior stakeholders, commercial negotiations and complex approval processes across APAC markets.
  • Expertise in measurement, attribution, experimentation, dashboards and translating performance signals into investment decisions.
  • Experience in a regulated environment with high standards for privacy, consent, brand safety, medical/legal/regulatory review and responsible communications.
  • Experience building teams, influencing without authority and creating alignment across central, regional and local market stakeholders.
  • Professional fluency in English.
Useful, but not essential:
  • Postgraduate qualifications in marketing, digital media, analytics or business.
  • Additional APAC market language capability, such as Japanese or Korean.
What you’ll do

You will set the direction for APAC media and performance, then build the operating rhythm that turns strategy into results across markets, agencies and internal partners.

  • Translate APAC priorities into annual and campaign media strategies, integrated channel plans, briefs, investment cases and market playbooks.
  • Lead budget setting and scenario planning across base, expanded and extension scenarios, quantifying reach, frequency, share of voice, conversion-pathway and brand-lift implications.
  • Design channel roles, audience strategy, phasing and buying approaches that balance efficient reach with consideration, search capture and action intent.
  • Oversee agency briefs, partner selection, negotiations, contracts, quality assurance, brand safety and delivery against approved plans.
  • Establish a single measurement and reporting framework, with optimisation frameworks, dashboards and regular reviews, using incrementality testing, brand lift or MMM to guide investment.
  • Connect consumer media with Public Relations (PR), creators, Key Opinion Leaders (KOL)/Digital Opinion Leaderes (DOL) activity, Healthcare Professional (HCP) engagement, eHealth partners and owned experiences, so audiences move from awareness to compliant, informed next steps.
  • Ensure all media activity is compliant and responsible, aligned with Novo Nordisk standards, local regulations and disease-awareness guardrails, including non-branded communications.
