Job summary

DBS Bank, based in Singapore, is seeking an Automation Test Engineer to join its regional product delivery team. You will convert BDD tests to automated scripts across Android, iOS, web, and REST APIs, collaborating with delivery teams in an agile environment.

You will design and maintain automated test suites using Selenium, Appium, Playwright, and Pytest, ensuring end-to-end quality and timely releases across digital platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience, preferably in Web and Mobile Banking solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Appium, Selenium, JUnit; Playwright (Java), Pytest (Python), Selenium (Java).
• Strong coding knowledge in Java, Objective-C, JavaScript or similar.
• Experience developing complex SQL queries.
• Experience with API testing and tools like SOAP UI; familiar with UNIX/Linux and CI/CD tools.

Responsibilities

• Advocate the quality culture in cross-functional teams and ensure best practices are followed.
• Design, develop, execute, and maintain test cases for Android, iOS, web, and REST APIs; build automated suites with Selenium, Appium, Playwright, and Pytest.
• Establish testing as part of the development process in cross-functional teams.
• Develop maintainable automated checks with development teams; propose testing tool improvements.
• Identify defects, report them and follow up to ensure closure; use exploratory testing to find issues.
