Job summary

Standard Chartered Bank seeks an senior security leader to own and deliver capabilities across AI Security, Digital Assets, DevSecOps and Application Security. You will partner with AI Factory, ADO Platform, Security Architecture and engineering teams to embed security into workflows and manage dependencies for secure, scalable adoption.

Strong background in Node.js/Java/Python, secure SDLC, and CI/CD security is essential.

Qualifications

• 15+ years’ experience across software engineering, Application Security, DevSecOps or security engineering in large-scale enterprise environments, preferably including regulated financial services.
• Strong software development background with hands-on proficiency in Node.js, Java or Python and the ability to translate security requirements into practical technical solutions.
• Deep knowledge of secure SDLC and Application Security, including SAST, SCA/OSS, secrets detection, vulnerability management and remediation workflows.
• Proven ability to embed security controls into CI/CD pipelines and engineering workflows, using enterprise platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver critical security capabilities across AI Security, Digital Assets Security, DevSecOps and Application Security, aligned to roadmap outcomes and security priorities.
• Drive security tooling integration, automation and workflow improvements across engineering platforms.
• Support AI model onboarding security activities, AI governance enablement and model security tooling integration.
• Engage with AI Factory, ADO Platform, Security Architecture, and engineering teams to manage dependencies and secure adoption of AI and Digital Assets security.
