Job summary

RED ALPHA CYBERSECURITY PTE. LTD. is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our Platform Engineering team to build, automate, deploy, and maintain modern application and infrastructure platforms.

The role collaborates with software developers, infrastructure engineers, and security teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure services. Candidates with a software development background who are excited by cloud-native tech, automation, and platform engineering will fit well.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in software development or software engineering.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and version control concepts.
• Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Familiarity with Linux operating systems and command-line environments.
• Knowledge of CI/CD concepts and automation practices.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Bash or Python.
• Understanding of REST APIs and basic networking concepts.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and ability to work in a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support platform services using GitOps methodologies.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for deployments.
• Automate operational tasks using scripting and IaC.
• Monitor platform health, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve software delivery processes.
• Manage deployments across development, testing, and production environments.
• Support containerized workloads and orchestration platforms.
• Implement and maintain observability with logging, metrics, and tracing.
• Participate in incident response, problem management, and continual service improvement.
• Ensure platform security, compliance, and configuration standards are followed.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation and runbooks.
