Red Alpha Cybersecurity is looking for aspiring Cloud Engineers to build secure, scalable, and automated infrastructure across cloud environments. You'll play a key role in DevOps, infrastructure automation, and security integration for modern software delivery pipelines.
Work within agile teams to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, release, and deployment
Develop and maintain scripts for application deployment, environment provisioning, and system monitoring
Set up and maintain DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitLab Runners, Nexus/JFrog, Jira, and Confluence
Implement DevSecOps practices by integrating security tools (SAST/DAST) into CI/CD workflows
Monitor systems for vulnerabilities, perform assessments using tools like Tenable and Nmap
Review security scan results to determine true risks and identify false positives
Configure infrastructure security elements such as certificate management, encryption, patching, and access control
Integrate APIs and plugins into CI/CD pipelines for automation and security
Contribute to operational policies (SLAs, DR plans, change management) and enforce platform standards
Preferred Technical Skills (not mandatory)
Familiarity with cloud platforms and DevOps methodologies
Knowledge of containerisation and orchestration tools: Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift
Experience with version control and DevOps tools (e.g. GitLab, Jenkins, Nexus)
Understanding of vulnerability scanning tools (e.g. Tenable, Nmap)
Comfort with both Linux and Windows environments, including patch management and system hardening
Exposure to platform security: SSL, firewalls, certificates, IP tables, and monitoring tools
Strong attention to detail, with a proactive and analytical mindset
All selected candidates will undergo a 10-week, fully sponsored on-job-training with allowance, before being deployed full-time for 3 years.
