Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a DevOps Engineer for its Corporate and Investment Banking Electronic Market Making team in Singapore. You will support reliability, automation, and efficiency of a high-performance, latency-sensitive trading platform.

You will work with senior engineers to maintain infrastructure, tooling, and deployment pipelines enabling global regions to build, test, and release with confidence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or production engineering.
• Proficiency in Python and Bash in Linux environments.
• Strong Linux system administration experience (RHEL/CentOS).
• Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing) and practical troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD systems (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and automated test integration.
• Familiarity with configuration management and IaC (Ansible, Puppet, Salt).
• Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, and multi-region production systems.
• Experience with incident management, triage, and root-cause analysis.
• Experience coaching teams in AI-assisted development tools with secure, validated outputs.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain CI/CD pipeline infrastructure and multi-region deployments.
• Implement automation using Python and Bash to streamline workflows and provisioning.
• Manage Linux production and development environments (RHEL/CentOS).
• Contribute to infrastructure-as-code for consistent deployment topology.
• Build and operate monitoring and observability to meet SLA for latency-sensitive systems.
• Assist with network configuration and trading data connectivity in data centers.
• Follow reliability practices including automated failover and DR procedures.
• Develop internal tooling and self-service platforms to boost productivity.
• Collaborate across teams to drive production readiness and operational improvements.
• Promote enterprise AI-assisted development with validation standards.
