Job summary

BIOTRONIK is seeking a seasoned DevOps Engineer to design and operate cloud and hybrid infrastructure that supports medical device software in Singapore. You will manage Terraform, Azure AKS, Helm, ArgoCD, and GitHub Actions pipelines to ensure secure, auditable software delivery across multiple environments.

You will bolster security, monitoring, and incident response, while coordinating with regulatory teams to meet industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• At least 5-7 years in DevOps, infrastructure, or platform engineering.
• At least 3 years in medical device or regulated industry.
• Proven Terraform experience for Azure infrastructure.
• Experience operating Kubernetes (AKS) in production, including Helm and ArgoCD.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitHub Actions.
• Familiarity with cloud-native secrets, identity, and access management.
• Experience with observability tooling (Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor).
• Experience with hybrid on-premises to cloud networking.
• Strong security practices for cloud environments.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Design, write, and maintain Terraform to provision and manage Azure infrastructure as code.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters (AKS), Helm charts, ArgoCD workflows, and networking components.
• Build and maintain GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines for automated delivery and security gates.
• Deploy, operate, and support apps across development to production with release strategies.
• Manage secrets, identity, and access (Key Vault, RBAC).
• Maintain observability with monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
• Bridge hybrid on-premises and Azure networks with secure connectivity.
• Participate in on-call rotation and drive post-incident improvements.
• Maintain backup, DR procedures and cloud cost management.
• Collaborate with regulatory teams to meet standards and controls.
• Work with software/test engineers to embed infra needs early in lifecycle.
