Job summary

Ambition is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS, focusing on security, reliability, and performance. You will strengthen CI/CD capabilities, automate operations, and enhance production readiness in a mission-critical environment.

You will collaborate with software engineering and platform teams to implement IaC, container orchestration with Docker/Kubernetes, and robust observability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or cloud infra with hands-on production ownership.
• Proven AWS experience covering security, networking, design, and high availability.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
• Scripting in Bash or Python; IaC automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS with high availability and security.
• Develop and maintain secure, reliable CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment frequency and quality.
• Own production reliability, capacity planning, and incident response.
• Lead incident investigations and implement preventive improvements.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using IaC.
• Manage containerized environments with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Establish monitoring, logging, alerts, and observability across systems.
• Collaborate with software and platform teams to improve architecture and release readiness.
• Drive automation to reduce operational overhead and boost engineering productivity.
