Job summary

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering.
• Proven ownership of production services and operational outcomes.

• Deep Kubernetes production experience; EKS preferred.
• Strong CI/CD engineering with automation and release velocity.
• Terraform and IaC proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Own production reliability outcomes across availability, scalability, cost-efficiency, and security.
• Architect and operate secure, scalable AWS infrastructure.
• Operate and scale container platforms including Kubernetes, EKS, and ECS.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters at production scale: upgrades, troubleshooting, lifecycle.
• Design and improve CI/CD pipelines for secure, reliable releases.
• Build and maintain IaC using Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Integrate security into DevOps, including secret management and IAM best practices.
• Improve observability with metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, and alerting.
• Lead incident response, RCA, and post-incident reviews.
• Automate provisioning, deployments, monitoring, and access management.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to accelerate scripting, troubleshooting, and productivity.
• Prototype AI/agentic solutions to automate workflows.
• Develop runbooks, platform standards, and operational procedures.

We are looking for a Senior DevOps / Platform Engineer to own and improve the reliability, scalability, security, and efficiency of our production infrastructure. You will work across AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, observability, and cloud security while driving automation and AI-assisted solutions to reduce operational toil. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys owning production systems end-to-end, solving complex infrastructure challenges, and building scalable platforms that enable engineering teams to deliver software quickly and reliably.

Responsibilities

• Own production reliability outcomes across availability, scalability, cost-efficiency, and security, from system design through implementation and ongoing operations.
• Architect, deploy, and operate secure, scalable AWS cloud infrastructure following industry best practices.
• Operate, scale, and evolve container platforms including Kubernetes, Amazon EKS, and ECS.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters at production scale, including workload scaling, troubleshooting, upgrades, lifecycle management, and performance optimization.
• Design, implement, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines to enable fast, secure, reliable, and repeatable software releases.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Integrate security practices and controls into DevOps workflows, including container image scanning, runtime security, IAM best practices, and secure secret management.
• Continuously identify and reduce cloud security risks through automated guardrails, compliance controls, monitoring, and secure architecture patterns.
• Establish and mature observability across metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, and alerting to improve system visibility and reduce incident resolution time.
• Lead production incident response, root-cause analysis (RCA), and post-incident reviews, driving preventative improvements.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployments, monitoring, access management, maintenance, and other repetitive operational tasks.
• Leverage AI-assisted engineering tools to accelerate scripting, documentation, troubleshooting, operational analysis, and engineering productivity.
• Design and prototype AI/agentic solutions that automate repetitive DevOps and platform engineering workflows.
• Develop clear technical documentation, runbooks, platform standards, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, security, product, and other teams to improve platform reliability and delivery efficiency.
• Mentor engineers and promote best practices around DevOps, platform engineering, security, automation, and operational excellence.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering, with proven ownership of production services and operational outcomes.
• Strong hands-on expertise with AWS, including cloud networking fundamentals and designing/operating scalable, resilient cloud infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure security, including network security, IAM design, encryption, secrets management, and secure architecture patterns.
• Deep hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments; Amazon EKS experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes cluster operations, workload scaling, troubleshooting, upgrades, and lifecycle management.
• Strong CI/CD engineering experience with a track record of improving deployment reliability, automation, and release velocity.
• Proficiency in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Scripting-level proficiency in Python and strong working knowledge of Bash/Shell for automation and operational tooling.
• Strong observability experience across metrics, logs, and traces, with the ability to build actionable dashboards and tune alerts effectively.
• Demonstrated AI-first mindset, including practical use of AI-assisted engineering tools to improve productivity and quality.
• Experience building AI-assisted or agentic solutions to automate repetitive DevOps/platform workflows.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across engineering and other departments.
• Ability to write clear technical documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures and mentor peers.
